Brett Lubarsky has been a leader in the field of Jewish youth engagement and education for over fifteen years. He currently serves as Associate Director of the Jewish Teen Initiative of Greater Boston, a national model for Jewish teen engagement serving the north shore and metrowest suburbs of Boston, and is a Birthright Israel Fellow. Prior to joining JTI, Brett spent 12 years as one the architects of the youth community at Temple Beth Elohim of Wellesley, Massachusetts. Brett has taught and worked extensively with Jewish youth and professionals at congregations and organizations throughout the country, and regularly teaches, consults and leads workshops related to youth programming, leadership and team development, Jewish service learning, educational technology and youth communications strategy. Brett was a CJP Teaching and Technology Fellow, in addition to being a reader, pilot facilitator and Fellow for Moving Traditions' Campaign For Jewish Boys and Shevet Achim: The Brotherhood program. Brett holds a Certificate in Informal Jewish Education, Youth Leadership and Camping from Hebrew College. A lifelong camper at heart, Brett has spent his summers at URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy, URJ Eisner Camp, Camp Bauercrest, NFTY in Israel, Brandeis University and with the JCC Maccabi Games.
